Social Justice

At St. Stephen, we believe that God’s love knows no bounds—and neither should ours. Rooted in the teachings of Christ and the call to love our neighbors, we are committed to standing for justice, equity, and inclusion for all people.

We are proud to be visible and active in our community, boldly affirming that every person is beloved by God.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Participation
Each year, we joyfully participate in both the Dallas and Mesquite Pride Parades, standing in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ siblings and proclaiming God’s unconditional love for all. Our presence at these events is a celebration of dignity, visibility, and welcome.

🤝 Partnering for Change
Through our ongoing partnership with Faith in Texas, we work to address systemic injustice and build a more just, compassionate, and equitable society—right here in our own neighborhoods. Whether it’s through advocacy, education, or direct action, we are dedicated to being agents of change.

Faith in Action
Social justice is not a side project at St. Stephen—it’s woven into the fabric of who we are as followers of Jesus. Together, we seek to live out Micah 6:8:
"Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God."
