PRIDE Weekend Was a Blast!

St. Stephen folks had a wonderful time welcoming people to the Alan Ross Freedom PRIDE Festival and Parade over the weekend of Sept. 16-17. This year the festival and the parade were on different days, so there was plenty of opportunities to meet and greet new folks with the message of God's unconditional love for all.

This was the first year that all SEVEN Reconciling United Methodist congregations marched together in the PRIDE Parade. St. Stephen has the second-largest turnout of participants, as well as staffing both a church booth and a kids' zone booth at the festival.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words here are photos from various Facebook friends posted over the weekend. See how many of our St. Stephen community you can identify by name as you enjoy them!

Peek-a-boo, we see you! Miss Lola Martindale couldn't
resist the swinging doors on the float.

Our message always is God's unconditional love.
